MUZIEK: The Very Best of The Smiths

Van de week heb ik via i-tunes het album The Very Best of the Smiths aangeschaft. The Smiths is één van mijn favoriete bands en hoewel ze maar vier jaar hebben bestaan (1984-1988) zijn ze toch een begrip in de Engelse rockscene. The Smiths blonken ook uit in het verzinnen van de meest rare titels. Je vindt ze ook terug op dit Very Best album. Ik noem er een paar:

Ook de teksten zelf zijn vaak, mwah, op zijn minst shockerend, maar altijd met een vrolijke ondertoon:
